The Success of V Rising: How To Use Events, Influencers, And Social To Come to Market Strong
We recently had the pleasure of being a part of the launch for Stunlock Studios’ newest project, V Rising. A vampire-inspired survivalist game, V Rising takes the concepts of open-world exploration and multiplayer collaboration to deliver a unique and thrilling experience. It’s been highly anticipated since its initial announcement and did not disappoint after its Steam Early Access release on May 17th.
While we knew how much potential this game had to succeed, we also knew its popularity wouldn’t come without the right exposure. That’s why we partnered with Stunlock Studios in running its recent launch campaign, where we hosted a Twitch event to showcase V Rising’s capabilities to potential players. We also ran an extensive social campaign and giveaway, touting the launch to seas of gamers across Instagram and Twitter. And even furthering our impact, this initiative was lucky enough to be joined by the likes of two prominent influencers in the gaming sphere, ShelbyRenae and DramaKingMatt.
The results of our collaborative efforts have been beyond spectacular, and we’re proud to say that we believe we’ve accomplished our objective of getting V Rising the attention it deserves. Our Twitch launch event got a whopping 9,436 live views, our work on Instagram amassed a huge 1,020,959 impressions, and our efforts on Twitter another 97,761. What’s more, the campaign’s giveaway received over 1900 entries, with lucky winners getting awesome prizes.
Since May 13th, the gaming community has come together to generate 1,187,193 total impressions for the launch of V Rising. The event was nothing short of a great success, and we’re grateful to have had the chance to be a part of it.
We’ve been working around the clock to get the word out about this title and are confident that its popularity will continue to grow in the coming weeks. If you’re looking for a new survival game to sink your teeth into (pun intended), V Rising is definitely one to give a go. Check it out on Steam Early Access today and see what all the rave is about.
